Halloween is another excuse to throw parties hosted by rock-and-roll singers and porn stars.

Wakefield

Speaking of rock stars, Alex Daoud was Miami Beach’s most popular mayor — until he was convicted of money laundering and taking bribes. Now Daoud details his life as mayor of the Beach during the 1980s. And that’s making many political insiders unhappy.

A Spooktacular Week

See a different side of porn star Jenna Haze at the Hustler Halloween Party

All dressed up with nowhere to go? Allow me to give you the 411 on where the coolest guys and ghouls will be spending their Halloween horror nights. As always, the Beach will host a bevy of soirées specially designed to scare the bejesus out of you — or at least titillate the dark recesses of your imagination when all the sexy women don costumes with names like Ho White.

Mansion will kick things off on Saturday, Oct. 27, with Irene Marie Models’ annual Halloween Ball — a rock ’n’ roll-style costume party. Beware of catching cooties, though, because Tommy Lee will throw down a set with DJ Aero.

Social Miami at the Sagamore Hotel is throwing a Dead Ringers Halloween party on the same night. The best look-alike costumes will win prizes when the Sagamore transforms into The Redrum Lounge and Mystic Gardens. The fog-filled evening will feature a tarot card reader, crystal ball reader, medieval fire dancer, the Addams Family, BeetleJuice and many other scary doppelgängers. Classic Halloween horror movies will be shown on hotel video screens and there will be an open bar from 9 to 11:00 p.m.

Supermarket Creative, the brainchild of socialite extraordinaire Jochy Ortiz, and Gorillas, Gen Art and the Ford models will throw a Halloween Prom Night that same evening at Blink Studios, located at 521 Michigan Ave. DJ Induce will be spinning. Yes, the dress code is mandatory. Space is limited, so e-mail RSVP@iheartsupermarket.com to reserve a spot.

If, after all that, you’re still looking for Ho White, get over to Privé on Wednesday, Oct. 31. The walking retrovirus known as adult star Jenna Haze will host the official Hustler Halloween Party. The event will feature a saucy S&M theme with DJs Ideal and Jon Cash on the turntables.

This year, it seems Halloween is all about the pirates.

Swashbuckling mayhem will ensue at Mansion when butt pirate and adult star Jesse Jane hosts while DJs Ron Luna and Konflikt spin the soundtrack. The best costume can win cash prizes. The same night, VIPs can cross the velvet ropes into Set with an artsy Eyes Wide Shut-themed party featuring couture-inspired outfits and masquerade masks.

The Hotel Victor promises to be a must-see-to-believe event from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Halloween. Springbac’s Heatherette Halloween Party is a collaborative celebration hosted by the Hotel Victor, Heatherette’s Richie Rich and American transgender icon Amanda LePore. Expect the ubiquitous DJ Tracy Young to spin ’90s and classic house records. Plus, at midnight, the person with best costume has a chance to win a VIP table for the evening in the Springbac lounge, worth $500.

Of course, it wouldn’t be Halloween night without an exclusive dinner party at The Forge. Shareef Malnik, Michael Capponi, Antonio Misuraca, Maxwell Blandford and Empire invite the cream of the crop to the Beverly Hills Pajama Party at 10 p.m. Attendees will include the sexy, sultry stylings of Playboy Playmate Brande Roderick. Creative bedtime and traditional costumes are highly encouraged. In fact, if you want to hang with Paris Hilton’s favorite DJ, Joe Dert, you’d better dress up. DJs Irie and Chicco Secci also will be spinning.

SideKickin’ It

Every superhero needs a sidekick, and if you are anybody worth mentioning, you probably need the new T-mobile Sidekick LX (stands for luxury, baby) to keep track of all your booty call options. T-Mobile launched the new and improved communication device at an exclusive shindig at the Hotel Victor on Thursday. DJ Berrie spun the music that kept some über-VIPs like Michael “Megatron” Bay and Miami Beach Commissioner Michael Gongora shakin’ their assets all night.

Also in the house were VIP couture designer Hassan Pierre, restaurateur Jonathan Moore, music producer Bigg D and, of course, the irrepressible Michael Capponi. The sweet event featured a Candyland-inspired theme and featured magenta cotton candy sticks, icy blue snow cones and more chocolate than a Swiss town. The chocolate martinis provided by Motley Bird were particularly yummy.

Get to BED!

Well, it’s about time they changed the freakin’ sheets at the once-dilapidated South Beach club B.E.D. The only nightspot where you can actually bed a sizzling beauty without ever leaving the premises has recently undergone a bit of a makeover. If you’re curious about the new digs, we recommend you check out SMAC Entertainment’s newest party, Sheets and Pillows, on Saturday. That Mokaï maniac, DJ Ross One, will spin you right ’round, baby, and hopefully all those creepy stains on the sheets have vanished.

Spotted:

Bill Clinton at Prime One Twelve on Sunday. Tom Brady, Gisele Bündchen, Reggie Bush and Fat Joe also dined there.
