SOULFRITO Urban Latin Music Festival

Latin music and culture take the stage at Soulfrito.

Celebrate Latin music, culture and arts at the fifth annual SOULFRITO Urban Latin Music Festival at the Bayfront Amphitheater on Nov. 18. The D.E.Y (Divine, Elan and Yeyo) will headline this year’s event along with chart-topping artist Kat Deluna, reggaeton artist Notch, merengue favorite Fulanito and renowned spoken-word artist La Bruja. Music of Led Zeppelin, The Symphony

Led Zeppelin meets classical music.

The Music of Led Zeppelin, The Symphony brings the legendary group’s timeless rock ‘n’ roll together with classical music. Conductor Brent Havens leads a full orchestra and a rock band equipped with drums, bass, guitar and killer vocals in this auditory spectacle. The two-hour performance, originally conceived for the Virginia Symphony, features more than 18 Zeppelin classics, including “Black Dog,” “Immigrant Song” and “Stairway to Heaven.” This show is sure to bridge the gap between rock ‘n’ rollers and classical music lovers when it comes to the Broward Center for the Performing Arts on Dec. 16.

Miley Cyrus, aka Hannah Montana

Disney’s newest breakout star is embarking on her first world tour. Fourteen-year-old Miley Cyrus, the daughter of Billy Ray Cyrus who’s better known as teen pop star Hannah Montana, will perform The Best of Both Worlds featuring The Jonas Brothers Nov. 20 at the BankAtlantic Center. The show, inspired by her hot TV program, has been in such high demand that tickets are selling for as much as $3,000. For those who don’t get a chance to see the live performance, Disney plans to air a 3-D motion picture version of the musical tour from Feb. 1 to 7. If you have children between the ages of 6 and 14 and can afford the hefty price tag, there’s no better holiday gift than a trip to see Hannah Montana.
