Boat Show Events Schedule

There’s more to the Miami International Boat Show than just staring at yachts and power boats. The National Marine Manufacturers Association has actually planned a series of lectures, cooking demonstrations and parties, particularly on the second level of the Miami Beach Convention Center at 1901 Convention Center Drive. Many of the events will be held in the “big game room” (located in room B 214), the “bait rigging station (room B 212) and the filet station (room B 210). In tow with children who are not as enthusiastic about boats as you are? Not to worry: A “kid’s area” has been set up across the street from the convention center at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden.

Admission to the boat show is $30 on Thursday for “premier day.” After that, from Friday to Monday, adult admission is $16. “Junior boaters” between the ages of 13 and 15 can get in for $6. Kids under the age of 12 get in for free. For more information, visit www.miamiboatshow.com.
